Faulty X-ray machine makes patients suffer at SDH Parole

The Sub- District hospital Parole has been failing to provide X-ray services to patients near about three months after the machine developed a fault. It causes inconvenience to patients.
The new building has already been found but the problem has not yet been reduced to the people. The patients are referred from the Sub-district hospital to the district Hospital Kathua or Mahatma Gandhi Jacha-Bacha Hospital far away from Parole, just for an X-ray copy.
The Patients faulted the authorities for the delay to fix the problems. They claiming Lack of seriousness between the various sections of the health department has led to interruption in X-ray facilities to patients. Routines Patients are forced to go to private centers, they added.
Thousands of residents of the town Parole of Tehsil Nagri are suffering the same problem.
In the winter, the number of OPDs is low but still Sub district hospital sees a footfall of 50 to 60 patients everyday. A little over the 5 percent of the daily visitors require X-ray investigation.
Meanwhile, The Northlines asked Dr. Sangeeta Ajrawat, Block medical officer regarding this issues. She said, " We have informed to the health department about this. We have been assured that new machine would be given soon.”
